Many people ask me what I drink and eat for my birthday. Below are some of the wines and foods I enjoyed on this year’s long birthday celebration, thanks to friends in NJ, Brooklyn, Rhode Island, and Michele. Some of the wine and food combinations may seem a “little different,” but they all worked.

Fresh figs wrapped in prosciutto with fresh mozzarella. Figs were picked from the tree in the yard were we had dinner.
